Huesker Soiltain Sand Filled Tubes, Bags and Scour Aprons

SoilTain® Tubes for coastal or riverine erosion protection, they are a large long tubular containment system manufactured from high strength woven geotextiles which are filled insitu with a slurry of sand and water, the completed tubes prevent soil / aggregates from being eroded by waves or currents.
Typically SoilTain® Tubes are hydraulically pumped / filled but can also be filled by a combined mechanical/hydraulic method.

SoilTain® Bags (pillows) for coastal or riverine erosion protection, they are smaller sized containers ( 1 to 2 cubic metres) manufactured from high strength woven geotextiles which are typically filled either insitu or with sand or any other appropriate fill material by hopper and manoeuvred into place by mechanical means to form flexible structures which are economic, ecologically friendly and follow the principles of sustainable engineering.

SoilTain® Scour Aprons are typically used in conjunction with tubes and bags. They are manufactured from high strength woven geotextiles which are filled insitu with a slurry of sand and water
