CPI Flexi-Drain Wick / Prefabricated Vertical Drains (PVD)
Flexi-drain is manufactured from a very flexible corrugated core wrapped with a non-woven spunbonded filter cloth. The corrugated core minimizes the drains susceptibility to ‘kinking’ during pre-load dewatering / consolidation of deep and weak sub grades.
Use in conjunction with Huesker and Terratex geotextiles
Applications:
- Roads and platforms on soft, water-saturated soils
- Dams and bunds on soft, water-saturated soils
- When fast and reliable substrate consolidation is required
